Débordant d’adhérents avec 500 joueurs (encadrés par une centaine de bénévoles), le club réside dans le complexe omnisports René Piquemal mis à disposition par la mairie (à qui on fait un bisou), Il oscille entre autonomie structurelle et entraide humaine avec pour motivation le plaisir de jouer.
À partir du CP et jusqu’au CM2, l’école de basket permet aux petits de découvrir le ballon orange tandis que des sections U13, 15 et 17 assurent la progression jusqu’à la majorité. Le moteur qu’est l’équipe féminine senior ne se cantonne pas au rôle de vitrine. En plus d’aider sur les entraînements, elles viennent sur les matchs voir jouer les plus jeunes, ces derniers leur rendant la pareille lors des rencontres à domicile. À ce propos, le samedi 13 octobre les filles reçoivent Voiron et remettrons la recette de leurs entrées à l’Oncopole de Toulouse pour la lutte contre le cancer du sein.Merci à elles+venez les voir.
Approche globale toujours avec l’existence d’une école d’arbitrage au sein du club. En effet, pas de match sans arbitre, il est donc essentiel de former la relève à ce niveau là. Cohésion toujours avec différentes ententes du club avec ses voisins de Tournefeuille et Blagnac mais également de Toulouse. Ce mutualisme permet de répartir au mieux les joueurs et de répondre parfaitement à leurs attentes en termes de disponibilités ou de niveau de jeu. En gros, malgré un effectif conséquent, il reste de la place pour qui veut s’inscrire.
Le club est constamment tourné vers l’avenir et à la recherche de partenaires. Fortement lié aux associations columérines, il en invite pour présenter leur créations lors des matchs, notamment lors des mi-temps. En partenaires privés, ils sont liés à des structures comme Ovalie Fitness ou encore Little Saigon.
