Ce sont deux jeunes gens souriants et volontaires qui se sont présentés dans nos locaux fin août. Estelle et Thomas Bazile, âgés de 23 et 21 ans et fiers représentants de la ville de Léguevin s’engagent en février pour le célèbre 4L Trophy sous le numéro d’équipage 305. Ce raid à pour but de relier Biarritz à Marrakech à bord de 4L, en passant par l’Espagne puis le désert Marocain, pour un parcours total de 6000km. Il permet de récolter de l’argent pour la construction d’écoles et de blocs sanitaires pour les enfants qui vivent dans le désert, ainsi que leur apporter des fournitures scolaires et sportives indispensables pour bien apprendre. 1200 équipages sont engagés cette année dans cette course ou la solidarité n’est pas qu’un objectif mais bien une valeur constante. Basée sur l’orientation, le gagnant sera jugé sur le nombre de kilomètres parcourus, pas au temps. Du coup les équipages s’entraident et se soutiennent, notamment lors des soucis mécaniques (mais nos deux compères m’ont affirmé être au point sur le sujet). Pilotant à tour de rôle, Estelle et Thomas s’engagent dans cette aventure pour l’expérience humaine avec une motivation qui fait plaisir à voir. Ils viennent tout juste de faire l’acquisition de leur bolide, baptisé « Titoune ». Orange pour le moment, ils ont promis qu’elle sera rose lors du départ le 21 février.
En plus de ce défi, ces jeunes gens souriants représentent l’association « La vie en musique » et vont donc en profiter pour en porter haut les valeurs jusqu’à la ligne d’arrivée.
