Six ans que Yoann, patron des lieux, régale, écoute et fédère ses clients autour de la table avec une cuisine résolument tournée vers l’Italie. Pizzas donc, mais également pâtes et lasagnes « que me demandaient les clients » nous confie t-il. Accompagné depuis 2 ans par Kentin, l’équipe a depuis quelques semaines multiplié la capacité d’accueil du restaurant par deux, prouvant le bon dynamisme de l’établissement. Une visite s’imposait donc pour mieux comprendre les raisons de ce succès. Outre un service rapide et souriant, c’est indéniablement l’assiette qui fait la différence. Notre choix de pizza « bufflonne » (tomate mozzarella et basilic) s’avère des plus judicieux. En effet, trop souvent bâclée, la galette Italienne est devenue synonyme de manger vite pour pas cher, sans trop faire attention au goût. Ici, c’est tout l’inverse. Faite maison, la pâte légère s’équilibre parfaitement avec une mozza de bufflonne au goût subtil. Niveau tarifs, le menu midi s’affiche à 12€.
En termes d’animations, L’Escale à Pizza n’est pas en reste avec une soirée karaoké prévue le 12 octobre, un concert à venir et une retransmission permanentes de sports sur un large écran.
En résumé, ce restaurant est une très bonne surprise, d’autant plus qu’il donne aussi dans la vente à emporter. On reviendra.
